Durfee Hot Springs
Hot Springs in Almo
Aching muscles melt away at Durfee Hot Springs on the northern edge of Almo. Since 2005, rock climbers, local residents and visitors have been soaking and swimming at Durfee, taking full advantage of the steamy, therapeutic water. It’s the perfect end to a day of hiking, climbing and exploring around the City of Rocks. The three pools – hot tub, swimming pool, and a kiddie pool – are continuously flowing and free from chemicals.
