Just 23 miles north of Idaho City off Highway 21, the Banner Ridge area is packed with opportunity and fun. There is a steep 1.3-mile climb from the trailhead to the ridge that allows access to loops, big views, and open bowls.

  • Park N' Ski permits are required and available through Idaho Parks and Recreation.
  • The trail system offers a combination of short 3-5 mile loops, mostly single track, that can be connected for different lengths.
