Located 20 miles north of Idaho City off Highway 21, Gold Fork provides access to two complete trail systems on either side of Highway 21. This is a great place to take the kids on an easy snowshoe trail.

Things to Know

  • Park N' Ski permits are required and available through Idaho Parks and Recreation.
  • Dogs are welcome.
  • The Gold Fork Loop is 5.1 mile of moderate difficulty which is usually groomed for skate skiing. The Skyline Loop goes for 4 miles.
