The Ashton-Tetonia Trail extends nearly 30 miles between the towns of Ashton and Tetonia, Idaho. Managed by Idaho Parks and Recreation, this partially paved trail occupies an abandoned rail spur that was once operated by Union Pacific (the Oregon Short Line). Popular for biking and running in the warmer months, in the winter, this route is open to cross-country skiers and snowshoers when snow trail grooming is possible.
