Yes. Look for a variety of animals including black bears, red foxes, mule deer, moose and various bird species.

Is camping available at Ponderosa State Park?

Yes. There are 22 standard and 163 serviced campsites, seven serviced ADA sites, nine deluxe cabins (two of which are ADA) and one camper cabin. Reservations can be made online.

Are pets allowed in the park?

Pets are allowed in the park and must be kept on a leash. Pets are not allowed on beaches. Pet owners are responsible for clean up.

What are the must-see stops in Ponderosa State Park?
