It’s almost Treefort time! The best five days in Boise are almost here, are you ready? Treefort Music Fest is back in action, taking over Downtown Boise with incredible headliners, over 500 bands to catch throughout town, late night parties, early morning talks, food, ale, and so so much more: there’s a little something for everyone at Treefort.
The minute you arrive at Treefort Music Fest is when the element of discovery begins. If you aren’t sure where to go, you can always make Main Stage at Julia Davis Park your home base, or swing by the Ranger Station to ask for all the hawt tips.
Here’s all you need to know for Treefort 2026!

Living Large at the Park
In 2023, Treefort Music Fest moved its Main Stage and surrounding events to Julia Davis Park. Treefort’s main hub in 2026 will once again take place in Boise’s oldest historic park. Within Julia Davis Park, there are two sections of the festival – a section open to the public and a ticketed section which requires a wristband to enter.
At the entrance of the park, you’ll find the Box Office, and once inside you can explore Alefort, Kidfort, live music at the Bandshell, large-scale art installations, and much more–no wristband required! All events within this section of the park are all ages and open to the public.
Travel further into Julia Davis Park and you’ll discover the ticketed section of the fest. Within, you’ll find the Treefort Main Stage, the Hideout Stage, the exclusive Lookout Lounge, and the brand new Secret Handshake VIP Lounge– a private space strategically positioned between Main Stage and Hideout Stage, which features private bathrooms, a bar, and cozy couches to rest your weary legs. If that sounds like the Treefort dream, you can get your tickets here!
The ticketed section of the park is open to all ages and requires a five-day, single day, or Main Stage festival pass. Full festival passes are running low, but Main Stage Only passes are still available–if you want to rock out to all the headliners and explore all that Julia Davis Park has to offer, a Main Stage pass is the perfect option for you!
Kids under age 12 are free to enter with an adult passholder. Enjoy all the Main Stage has to offer–catch all of our headliners and feel groovy for work Monday morning. Buy your pass here!
Big Laughs at The Egyptian
We are beyond thrilled to be bringing two heavy hitters in the comedy world to Treefort this year: Hannibal Buress and Joe Pera!
You may recognize them both from the New York/East Coast comedy scene. They’ve both starred in Adult Swim shows: Hannibal Buress, of course, being Eric Andre’s iconic sidekick in The Eric Andre Show, and Joe Pera hosting his own sleepy-time comedy-drama Joe Pera Talks with You. Now, they’re coming to Boise for two nights of comedic gold.
If you already have your 5-day or a 1-day Treefort pass, you can try your luck at getting a seat in the mezzanine at Egyptian (entry is included with wristband), but we recommend getting there very early! If you cannot bear the thought of missing either of these guys, then buy a ticket to reserve your spot in the audience! Choose your seats at checkout so the earlier you buy, the better the spot!

Getting Around Boise, Take the Treeline
Bop around with bands on the bus! Valley Regional Transit operates a festival route, called Treeline, that runs Wednesday through Saturday of Treefort with six bus stops across Downtown Boise.
The best part? There’ll be bands performing on the bus as well!
As if you need more of an excuse to ride the bus during the fest, the Treeline Circulator is free for anyone (no festival wristband required!) PLUS anyone with a festival wristband can ride any regular Valley Regional Transit bus route for free during the duration of the festival.
Treeline Shuttle Schedule:
- Wednesday: 6pm to 11pm
- Thursday: 2pm to 11pm
- Friday: 1pm to 11pm
- Saturday: 12pm to 11pm
- Sunday: No Service
Don’t wanna drive into Downtown? USE THE FREE PARK & RIDE OPTION! Meet VRT at the mall and cruise into downtown on one of their bus route:
Towne Square Mall (by Dillard’s)
Routes 4, 5, 7, 21, 24, 28, 29, 42, 45
*note* no buses run on Sundays
Bike Around the Fest
Biking is a super fun and easy way to get around the fest, especially since Julia Davis Park is located right on the beautiful Boise Greenbelt! Boise Bicycle Project will be back with bike parking stations in Julia Davis Park to support bike commuters during Treefort, so you shouldn’t have to worry about finding space to park your ride.
Walk from Venue to Venue
Explore Treefort on foot and discover even more! Who knows what you will hear, see or experience while walking in between venues in downtown Boise. If you’ve never been to Treefort, rest assured knowing that our downtown is very flat and walkable, and all the venues are just a few minutes from each other.
Boise Trolley Tours
Ride the historic Boise Trolley on Friday and Saturday for the Boise Roots Route! From noon through 10pm, the Boise Trolley will be traveling from north to south in Downtown Boise. Hop on and hitch a ride to your next venue! They’ll be making the route every 30 minutes. Rides are $10 for the entire day, $3 to hop on/hop off, or $15 for both Friday and Saturday. You can book online at boisetrolleytours.com
Carpool and Parking
Parking can be a real hassle during Treefort. If you have to drive, either opt to carpool with friends and park near downtown or utilize parking garages downtown to park for the day. Note that parking areas are for day use only, so if you plan staying out late or sippin’ on Alefort’s finest, it’s best to make other arrangements.
Pro Tip: Boise State will offer daily parking to festival goers in the Brady Garage at only $5 per day. Simply choose Treefort Music Fest when paying for parking in Brady Garage and the $5 flat rate will automatically be applied.
Accessibility at Treefort Music Fest
Treefort Music Fest strives to be accessible to all patrons and music fans. The larger venues, including Main Stage, Hideout Stage, the Bandshell, and Cyclops Stage are at ground level or have ADA access via ramp or elevator. Treefort will have an elevated ADA viewing platform at our Main Stage Area for improved views of the stage and grounds.
Due to the historic nature of the venue, only stairs are available at Reef. Treefort will do whatever they can to accommodate patrons at these locations. If you are unable to use stairs and are trying to access a show at Reef, please see a venue manager on site.
Elevator access for The Olympic Venue is located in the back entrance via the alley. Please see a venue manager at the Adelmann for elevator access. Treefort will also have ADA parking available at Julia Davis Park. Please send an email to ada@treefortmusicfest.com for more information or if you have any general questions. Learn more here.

Travel With Care at Treefort
Care for Boise
When out and about in downtown Boise, you may notice how clean our streets and sidewalks are. We want to keep it that way! Please be sure to throw away your trash, utilize recycling bins throughout the festival footprint, and visit a festival compost station for any unwanted food scraps. This year, we are introducing a fully compostable program at Main Stage! Bring your badge of honor and use your 16oz Steel Cup from years past: BUT if you forget, our cups are now fully compostable. Now that’s green!
Care for Others
Whether you’re in the mosh pit at The Shredder or standing in line outside of Shrine Social Club, please be patient and kind to those around you. The folks you meet working the door at venues are all volunteers. Please keep your cool and be kind to the employees and volunteers assisting you. They are doing their best. Plus it’s Treefort – the happiest time of the year!
Care for Yourself
We, of course, want you to have the Treefort you’ve been dreaming of, but we also want you to know your limits and make sure you’re safe. Have you drank water today? Did you remember your sunglasses? Are you wearing comfy shoes? Do you have time to grab a snack? Remember: Treefort is a marathon, not a sprint. Take care of yourself so you can enjoy the full five days of Treefort Music Fest!
