Native American Culture in Moscow
The Appaloosa Museum is located in the heart of Palouse Country – home of the Appaloosa breed. The museum is designed to provide self-guided exploration of exhibits that include a theater; a hands-on Kid’s Area; a library and archive featuring books, magazines, and videos. Exhibit themes range from the early evidence of spotted horses in art and literature, to the relationship between the Appaloosa and the Nez Perce Indians, to the highlights of the modern Appaloosa Horse Club.

- Typically, during the summer, visitors have access to an outdoor Appaloosa exhibit. In this visitor viewing area, find picnic tables, benches, shade trees plus a couple of gorgeous Appaloosas grazing nearby.
