Boise River Greenbelt

The Boise River Greenbelt, a 25-mile long bicycle and pedestrian path, links over 850 acres of parks and natural areas along the Boise River. Year-round, visitors can see songbirds, ducks, Canada geese, great blue heron as well as bald eagles in the winter. Wildlife viewing is best in early morning or late afternoon as sunset approaches. There are several developed sites and overlooks adjacent to the Greenbelt for wildlife viewing. Parks along the Boise Greenbelt include Barber Park, Municipal Park, Julia Davis Park, Ann Morrison Park and Kathryn Albertson Park, all offering a variety of recreation activities for visitors.
