Jaialdi means “festival” in the Basque language (Euskara).

There are five federally recognized tribes in Idaho: the Shoshone–Bannock, Shoshone–Paiute, Coeur d’Alene, Kootenai and Nez Perce.

Sacajawea, who was born in Lemhi County, Idaho and a member of the Agai’dika Shoshone-Bannock tribe, aided the Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery.
