Silver Valley Snowmobile Trails

Experience incredible mountain top views and abundant wildlife in the beauty of the Bitterroot Mountains.  Ride along rivers and streams, watch eagles soar, take in the serenity or get your heart racing on the more than 1,000 miles of groomed trails.  Easy trail access is available from Kingston to Mullan with designated warming huts and primitive facilities in the more remote areas.  There is plenty of lodging in the area, including some that let riders ride right from the front door.

Upper North Fork Payette River

Known to McCall’s locals as “The Meanders” for its gentle S-curves, this tranquil tributary is a haven for paddlers of all ages. Catch glimpses of deer, elk, fish, eagles, osprey, otters, mink and the occasional moose while you paddle through the lush landscape.

Butch Cassidy Museum at the Bank of Montpelier

The Bank of Montpelier was established in 1891 as the first chartered bank in Idaho and became famous after Butch Cassidy and his Wild Bunch Gang robbed the bank on August 13, 1896. It is the only bank in the country robbed by these infamous outlaws that is still standing.  The old building was restored to reflect the 1890s time frame and original elements and artifacts were preserved so guests may walk on the same floor that Butch Cassidy did or take a picture by the original bank vault.

Kendrick Museum: Juliaetta-Kendrick Heritage Foundation

We are dedicated to the preservation of local history. Museum is on the top level of the Fraternal Temple. Preserving the cultural and historical history of Idaho in the areas of Kendrick, Juliaetta, Leland, Bear Ridge, Texas Ridge, Potlatch Ridge, Fix Ridge, Little Bear Ridge, Taney, Cameron, Southwick, Crescent, and Cavendish. We welcome your support in any form.
