The Canfield Mountain Trail System provides miles of forested access to trails appropriate for beginners and advanced riders in the beautiful Coeur d’Alene area. Explore more than 32 miles on this trail system as you maneuver around ruts, rocks and other obstacles. The climb may be steep but the views are well worth the work.

  • Riders encouraged to wear helmets.
  • Insect repellent, sunscreen, and sunglasses recommended.
  • Clothing should be comfortable but not baggy.
  • Bring water and a light backpack for essential gear.
  • Bikers must pack out all trash, respect trail boundaries, and yield to hikers.
  • Certain trails shared by off-road vehicles, dirt bikes, horses, and hikers.
  • Some trails are downhill only, please check website for more information.
  • No restrooms.
  • Make sure to bring plenty of water.
