Fourth of July Pass is a great place to ski or snowshoe given the high altitude view found at 4th of July Summit. Three loop trails wind through stately forests and are great for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and backcountry skiing.

- This trail system offers intermediate and advanced levels of skiing. Snowshoeing is allowed.
- Backcountry skiers can climb nearby mountains to carve turns.
