Following the South Fork of the Payette River, the Wildlife Canyon Scenic Byway offers plenty to do for outdoor adventurers—from whitewater rafting and wildlife viewing to fishing and hiking. If you’re not ready for the road trip to end, you’re in luck! This route joins both the Ponderosa Pine Scenic Byway and the Payette River Scenic Byway with an abundance of ways to explore.

Road Trip Tips

Turn-by-Turn Directions: The route travels along Banks-Lowman Road and can be accessed either at Banks along Idaho 55 or at Lowman along Idaho 21. Either point of access will lead back to Boise.
