Stanley Museum and Ice House

The Stanley Museum is located in the former Valley Creek Ranger Station and features displays and artifacts interpreting central Idaho's cultural and natural history.

Bear Basin Trailhead

This trailhead accesses multiple trails in the Bear Basin trail system which includes 15 miles of beginner to intermediate trails with excellent views of the surrounding lakes and mountains. Bear Basin is a single track trail system with two flow trails, a pump track and around 15 miles of beginner to intermediate cross-country single track with enough variety and features to make it interesting for a variety of riders. The access is near the Little Ski Hill at the Bear Basin Trailhead sign west of McCall on Hwy 55. There are a variety of old roads and single track trails that start in the Bear Basin area. This is a primarily a flowing set of cross-country trails that make for a really fun afternoon or after work ride. With the exception of Upper and Lower Drain none of the trails are really technical.

Red Ridge Fish Lake Trailhead

This trailhead near Payette Lake provides access to a 17 mile gravel and dirt road trail for advanced riders. Ample parking is available at the Little Ski Hill just west of McCall.

Hayden Lake Trails

This series of easy trails near Hayden Lake offers fun for the whole family. With more than 20 trails covering 4,389 miles you're bound to find a perfect trail for you. 

Corral Creek

Corral Creek Trail is a 6.8 mile out and back trail located near Sun Valley, Idaho. This canyon ride has a steady climb but is good for riders of all skill levels. Combine this trail with others in the nearby White Clouds trail system for a longer or more challenging ride.

Sun Valley Museum of Art

The museum originates five to six visual arts exhibitions each year. It does not have a permanent collection but focuses its exhibitions on contemporary themes and ideas of relevance to the community and the region.

Teton Aviation Center

This aviation center displays an impressive collection of aircraft, including Warbirds and MiGs. Located at the Driggs-Reed Memorial Airport in beautiful Teton Valley Idaho. Full service FBO, Scenic Flights in the Teton Mountain Range, a Flight School, and the best dining in the valley at the Warbirds Café.

The Museum of Rexburg: Home of the Teton Flood Exhibit

The museum displays official black and white photos and miniature models that show what happened when the Teton Dam collapsed in 1976. An estimated 80 billion gallons of water scoured the city of Rexburg, killing nine people.

Lincoln Legacy Exhibition

Unique items on exhibit at the Idaho State Archives include Lincoln’s signed appointment of the first territorial Chief Justice; Lincoln’s signed appointment of the second territorial Governor; Lincoln’s remarks to Congress in 1863 and 1864 reporting on the progress made in organizing the Idaho Territory; and the Order of Procession for the President’s funeral parade in Chicago on May 1, 1865, listing the Honorable William H. Wallace of Idaho Territory as a Member of Congress in attendance.

Lochsa Historical Ranger Station Museum

In 1976, the station was formally dedicated as an interpretive site as part of the nation's Bicentennial Celebration. The station is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho

The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho (TAM) has championed the visual arts since 2002 through innovative and stimulating exhibits and its focus on educational art programs. Located on the greenbelt walkway overlooking the Snake River in Idaho Falls, TAM is home to five galleries, a children’s interactive art learning area, an art classroom/workshop area and an eclectic gift shop.

Teton Valley Museum

Discover the roots of Teton Valley from its beginning as Pierre's Hole to the thriving community it has become. Exhibits include historic photos of the area's towns in the early days, pioneer settlers, a mining display and the first flag that flew in the valley.

Legacy Flight Museum

Climb into the cockpit at the Legacy Flight Museum in Rexburg. Started by aircraft enthusiast John Bagley, the museum offers visitors the chance to get up close to some of the machines that have served our country.

Lincoln County Historical Museum

The Lincoln County Historical Museum preserves the history of Dietrich, Richfield, Shoshone and Lincoln County. You can explore the exhibits located in the historic Masonic Lodge in Shoshone.

LCSC Center for Arts and History

LCSC Center for Arts and History

Located in the heart of historic Lewiston, Lewis-Clark State College Center for Arts & History provides a common ground for the integration of all art. The Center offers the opportunity for increased understanding of and participation in the arts with permanent and traveling exhibits.

McConnell Mansion

This home is a mixture of the Queen Anne and Eastlake architectural styles, both characteristic of the late 1800s. Architecturally, the McConnell Mansion Museum is important since no other home in the Eastlake style has survived in Idaho. The McConnell Mansion was added to the National Register of Historic Places in November of 1974.

The Wood River Trail offers 20 miles of year round adventure in the stunning Wood River Valley. The trail system connects Bellevue, Hailey, Ketchum, and Sun Valley and offers visitors a place to run, bike, fish and even Nordic ski or snowshoe once the snow flies.

Redfish Lake Loop

This trail's gentle and advanced riding options circle the stunningly beautiful Redfish Lake on the edge of the Sawtooth Mountains.  The views are spectacular! The trail is steep and rocky in sections, but there are also terrific downhill parts for a thrilling ride.

Castle Museum

The Castle Museum was built as a home in the early 1900s overlooking Juliaetta in north central Idaho. It has an eclectic collection of memorabilia from early pioneer life in the Potlatch River valley.

Fisher Creek Loop

The trailhead gives riders access to 18 miles of rugged trails in the heart of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area.  There are a lot of steep inclines, but also fast downhill sections.

Harriman Trail

Ride through natural bliss along the Big Wood River.  The Harriman Trail begins eight miles north of Ketchum at the Sawtooth National Recreation Area (SNRA) Headquarters, and gains a gentle 1200 feet in elevation as it winds its way north and continues 19 miles west to Galena Lodge.

Fox Creek Loop

This one-way counter clockwise loop parallels the Big Wood River and then climbs sharply up into the hills connecting with Chocolate and Oregon Gulch trails. This trail is best for intermediate riders, with moderate climbs, great descents, and great views.

Barracks Fenceline Trail

Located about eight miles southeast of Salmon, this mostly singletrack trail offers a decent hill climb and a satisfying loop for both novices and more experienced riders. Expect some short steep pitches, some shallow stream crossings and two gates in the fence.

Crane House Museum

The Crane House Museum is home to historical information and artifacts of the Harrison area from the late 1890s and early 1900s. The old jail, a structure built around 1920, has been moved to the Crane House site and can be visited as well.
